Paper Marbling Workshops in Florence

Discover the magic of marbling! With this hands on workshop you’ll learn the tradition of Florentine Paper Marbling. A one of a kind experience with a chance to make your very own unique papers to take home. We will start by introducing the history of marbled paper and explanation of materials and techniques. After a quick demonstration of the typical tools and patterns you will be free to create your own designs and let your imagination flow ! No experience necessary and a family- friendly activity for all ages.

The duration is approximately 1.5-2 hours. LOCATION: Via Dei Giraldi, 11 (studio name is “L’appartamento”)

Booking are for a minimum of 2 participants. If you are a single traveller, please contact me for available drop in classes, or book with the 2-person minimum.
Workshops are open to the public, so you may participate alongside other potential guests. If you would like a private or custom experience please contact me to arrange

Workshops offered in English or Italian Language

All materials are included. Please wear appropriate clothing as we will be working with paints with there is risk of splatter. Aprons are provided.

Upon arrival please ring the doorbell labeled “l’appartamento'“, and our studio is the first door straight ahead. Please note that inside you must go up one flight of stairs for the workshop. On occasion, the location may be modified, but will always be communicated in advance.
